SLCB Foundation Day

Reinvigorating our Christian Faith, Rediscovering our Friendship with God”, this was the Theme of the Saint Louis College of Bulanao 45th Foundation Day. It started on January 31 and ended on February 2, 2013 at the School's area. This celebration started with a Eucharistic Celebration which was officiated by our own College President, Bishop Prudencio P. Andaya Jr. He talked about love and faith to God which we should always bear in mind to have a better relationship with our God. After the Eucharistic Celebration, everyone proceeded to the school's ground to witness the friendship game between the SLCB staffs and Saint William's Academy staffs. SLCB staffs won the said game.

In the afternoon of the 1st day, the friendship game between SLCB and International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) resumed. And at 3:00PM, the Quiz Bee was held at the School's Library. The College of Education got the first place, followed by the College of Information and Computing Sciences, College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Criminal Justice.

On the second day of the Foundation Day Celebration, a parade was done around Bulanao. During the parade, all students and teachers wore their complete uniforms. Just after the parade, a friendship game between SLCB personnel and the CARAA Team was held. SLCB team successfully won the game. In the afternoon, at 3:00PM, a variety show with the title “The Creed”, was held inside the gymnasium.

On the last day of the celebration, the field demonstration of students was held at the school ground. The said demo was participated by all students from the Elementary Department to College Department. All was at their best during the demo, every pupil/student was wearing their beautiful costumes and props and was performing enthusiastically. Right after the demonstration, the awards was announced.

The 3 days celebration went well. Every student, teacher and staff was able to enjoy. The 45th Foundation Day of SLCB was a huge success, and I'm looking forward to a more enjoyable and successful 46th Foundation Day of our beloved school.
